Finish: Long and warming, with smoky wood, liquorice and the unmistakable presence of esters and tropical fruits.
Description
If you are looking for first-class rum, you can hardly ignore Hampden Estate. The LROK 2016/2024 opens up a highly individual perspective on the Jamaican distillery's original. The single cask with the historic LROK marque (Light Rum Owen Kelly) has a strong ester content of 245 g/hlpa. After eight years in a continental climate in a bourbon barrel, characteristic funk meets overripe exotic fruits, marzipan and smoky wood.
