Fairy Casks, our popular bottling series of single cask Irish whiskeys, is now in its 7th edition. Fairy Casks No. 7 was created in collaboration with the Eppelmann winery from Stadecken-Elsheim in the Selztal in Rheinhessen. The single grain whiskey with 61.5% ABV was finished in an ex-Chardonnay barrel, which we sent especially from Rheinhessen to the Emerald Isle. The resulting combination of wood notes, fresh citrus and light grapes immediately won us over. Fairy Casks No. 7 is limited to 303 bottles and each bottle comes in a set with a bottle of the Chardonnay that was previously stored in the barrel.

To highlight the collaboration with the Eppelmann winery, we recommend buying the whiskey with the wine. It is very interesting to taste them against each other and to find the wine notes in the whiskey.

The Terra F Chardonnay represents the combination of origin and craftsmanship. It is short for Terra fusca, the skeletal and limestone terroir. The wine was stored in Burgundy barriques for 18 months so that it could develop.
