Description
Smoke signals for explorers:
Gordon & MacPhail takes you to the Isle of Mull
Green, gray, or purple? Independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail labels its Discovery Range whiskies with a different color depending on their flavor profile. The advantage for anyone new to the traditional house's range: They can recognize their favorite whiskies at a glance. The range's value for money is also beginner-friendly.
In keeping with the "Smoky With Peat" character, the light tubes contain peated whiskies. The Ledaig 12 yo was produced in the heavily smoky branch of the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull.
Rich vanilla is followed by a complex mix of smoked, baked apple, and delicate citrus notes. Then, stewed fruits and creamy milk chocolate cover the palate, before a long peat smoke finish.
