Description
Andrew Symington is an expert in tracking down exclusive Scotch whiskies. For the Symington's Choice series, the Signatory founder personally selects rare, expertly aged casks.
Among them, discerning distillers will find some of Scotland's most famous distilleries. For example, Dalmore. Symington filled two sister casks with the Highland distillery's voluminous single malt. After 21 years, he extracted the two single casks Dalmore 2003/2024 from the first-fill Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads No. 14743 and No. 14736 – two of Dalmore's rare independent bottlings.
The Ledaig 2005/2024 offers an individual perspective on peated whisky from the Isle of Mull. After 19 years in the first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, this Islay alternative boasts a warm amber hue as well as rich smoke, dried fruits, nuts, and maritime freshness.
