Highland Park is one of Scotland's finest single malts. Duncan Taylor initially matured the islander, celebrated for its fleshy umami notes, for 14 years in oak casks. The 2007/2022 Highland Park was then transferred to an Oloroso Sherry Octave Cask for five months of intensive maturation. At a cask strength of 55.3% ABV, it is aged for 14 years. In addition to honey, orange, and tea aromas on the nose, it unfolds hints of sherry on the palate, as well as notes of milk chocolate and peppered steak.
