Description

Martell is considered the most traditional of the four major cognac houses. Founded before Rémy Martin, the company has already celebrated its 300th anniversary. Its roots go back to 1715, when Jean Martell founded the brand to produce cognacs of exceptional quality.

With masterful creations, the house has secured a firm place for itself in the world of luxury products. The generous use of eaux-de-vie from the Borderies region is particularly valued, giving the cognacs a distinctive character.

The Cognac XO is a blend of the Crus Borderies and Grande Champagne. Made from rare, up to 35-year-old eaux-de-vie, it has been impressing since 1715 with its beautiful body and notes of fig, nut and vanilla.

For the Cognac VS Single Distillery, Martell uses distillates from a single distillery to create a full-bodied spirit with ripe plums, apricots and candied lemons.

The Cognac Cordon Bleu is a historic experience and has been blended according to the same recipe since 1912. It owes its complexity and strength to selected distillates from the Borderies and the Grande and Petite Champagne, some of which are decades old.

The Cognac VSOP matures for up to twelve years in French oak. Distillates from Grande and Petite Champagne give it fruity, fresh and woody characteristics with notes of caramel and plums.
