Benromach 10 yo
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 43% | Chill-filtered | No coloring
Description
Benromach is whisky for whisky fans – an authentic single malt that all enthusiasts should have had in their glass at least once.
In Forres, on the north-west coast of Speyside, a small team of passionate distillers has been reviving a lost style of Speyside single malts since 1998: voluminous and with a hint of smoke. To achieve this, Benromach uses Highland Peat, as well as Distillers' and Brewers' Yeast, very long fermentation times and exclusively first fill casks that are stored in traditional Dunnage warehouses. And: real handcraft.
The result? Award-winning single malt whiskies, shaped by their makers. The core range is led by the Benromach 10 yo. The price-performance tip, which has won around 14 awards, matures on average in 60 percent sherry and 40 percent bourbon casks. Delicate smoke complements 10-12 ppm fruit notes, malt and vanilla and gives the bestseller depth.
