Description
The journey of a key ingredient for whisky begins 1,345 meters above sea level: water. On its way from the summit of Ben Nevis, it flows through the breathtaking rock formations of Coire Leis, among other places. One of the few original bottlings of the distillery available in Europe is dedicated to the small lake. Coire Leis matures in first fill bourbon casks and is a wonderful single malt for beginners. Oily and creamy, with pear, apricot, caramel and oak spice, it shows its characteristic side.
