Sensory: Our cask strength bottling EMILL POWER PLANT has a compact aroma of toffee, caramel and roasted coffee. Despite the alcohol strength of 58.7% vol., after the initial alcohol shock it is intense but pleasant in the mouth and lingers there for a long time. The very complex taste opens up an aroma spectacle from malt to dark chocolate to fresh fruit, which ends in a pleasant note of colored pepper. Oak notes are present, but never dominate. The dry taste of ginger emerges in the long spicy finish. The perfect whisky for an evening in a Chesterfield leather armchair.
