Description
These whiskies are not tied to a single style or location, but combine the wild character of the Scottish islands. The Six Isles brings together single malts from the islands of Orkney and Islay, Skye and Arran, as well as Mull and Jura. The established independent bottler Ian Macleod has created truly unique blended malt Scotch whiskies. No other blend combines the essence of the islands.
The Six Isles Voyager is bottled at the ideal drinking strength of 46% vol. Thanks to the absence of chill filtration, it develops its full aroma - from peppery, slightly smoky spice, wine gum and floral and maritime tones on the nose to lush, oily notes with wood, citrus fruits and a little peat on the palate to the long, soft finish with salty and sweet notes.
