The Liberator Port 'n' Peat – Storehouse Special 0.7 l
The Liberator Port 'n' Peat – Storehouse Special , Blended Whiskey , 46% Vol.,
What makes a whiskey special in your eyes? We think it's when completely different flavors come together to form an ideal balance. A perfect example of this is the recently released The Liberator Storehouse Special Port'n Peat by Irish Whiskey Bonder Wayward Spirits. This blends malt whiskeys with a tawny port finish and grain whiskeys with a ruby port finish. The malt in 4% of these whiskeys was made over a peat fire. This results in a rather subtle smoke influence, just above the threshold of perception. This means that The Liberator Port'n Peat is not a classic peated whiskey. Rather, the minimal amount of smoke complements the remaining flavors from the port barrels and brings out the best in them.
