Shortcross Cognac Cask Aged Gin , Gin, 42% Vol.,
SHORTCROSS is a classic gin, with a unique flavour that is best described as grassy floral notes; wild berries and grassy notes. It is a smooth gin with an exceptionally long finish.
The gin reflects the plants and aromas that can be found around the Rademon Estate Distillery. The main ingredients of their gin are elderflowers and berries, juicy apples and wild clover. The ingredients are combined with coriander seeds, lemon and orange peel and cinnamon. A wheat distillate forms the alcohol base to create this balanced gin. It is brought to 42% with fresh spring water from their own water source.
The Cask Aged Gin was allowed to age in an orange cognac barrel for 2.5 years. The gin notes are perfectly combined with the notes of the cognac barrel. This gin is best enjoyed neat or in a martini.
The small batch philosophy ensures that the gin meets the highest quality standards. Each bottle is filled by hand, sealed with wax and labeled.
