Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 44.9% | Not chill-filtered | No coloring
Description
With the Distillerie d'Indochine, three Frenchmen fulfilled a lifelong dream. Their years of experience in the wine and spirits industry have been used to produce Sampan on the beach south of Hoi An in Vietnam since 2018. The premium rhum is distilled in the Agricole style from the freshly pressed juice of an aromatic, local sugar cane variety that is organically grown just 40 km from the distillery.
After full-bodied, unaged bottlings for high-quality cocktails, the craft distillery is now also presenting mature bottlings in the Cellar Series. The Sampan Rhum 2019/2023 - Cognac Cask is characteristic. Typically for Sampan, it matures tropically in medium-toasted French cognac barrels. In them, it develops into a balanced, creamy rhum with vanilla notes, a lively freshness and roundness that lingers for a long time with aromas of white pepper.
