Dingle Cónocht An Fómhair with a rum finish
Anyone who wants to explore the full range of flavours at the Dingle Distillery will find what they are looking for in the Irish "Wheel of the Year" series. Inspired by the Celtic heritage of the Dingle Peninsula, the limited editions are based on the Wheel of the Year. The distillery celebrates the eight sections of this ancient solar calendar with appropriate bottlings. Whether single malt or pot still Irish whiskey: all receive an individual finish that shows Dingle whiskey in all its facets and unfolds at higher drinking strength.
With the eighth bottling in the series, Cónocht An Fómhair, Dingle honors the autumn equinox festival of the same name. The golden single malt is a toast to the color and flavor nuances of the season. Matured in bourbon barrels and refined in rum casks, Cónocht An Fómhair brings aromas of fresh mint, rhubarb crumble and candied apples to connoisseurs. A hint of tropical fruit and sweet raisins gives way to notes of honey, coconut and hazelnuts before the limited edition experience ends with wonderfully pronounced spiced fruits and warm caramel notes.
A bonus bottling in honor of Wren Day will conclude the “Wheel of the Year” series.
