Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 46% | Not chill-filtered | No coloring
Description
From blended scotch, premium single malts and single grains to legendary single cask bottlings: the Duncan Taylor & Co. range is characterized above all by fine whiskies. Experts and enthusiasts all over the world rave about the complex, authentic bottlings. These are based on a whisky collection that is one of the largest of its kind.
With the bottlings of the Battlehill series, Duncan Taylor creates a liquid monument to the Battle of Slioch, near the bottler's home town. Between December 25th and 28th, 1307, the army of the Scottish King Robert Bruce defeated that of his rival John Comyn, Earl of Buchan. Only the finest single malts or grains are considered for Battlehill - such as the Dalmunach 8 yo. Rare as a single malt, it embodies the typical Speyside style with its fruity and light characteristics.
