Description
Travellers Liquors Ltd. works exclusively with locally grown, fairly produced sugar cane. The company uses molasses to produce Belizean rum in traditional column stills, which represents the authentic taste of the region.
Now the Belizean Blue Silver is expanding the range. The unaged rum is traditionally distilled in the column still. Its delicately sweet, light flavor profile with notes of sugar cane, citrus fruits and vanilla makes it a versatile, accessible base for classic cocktails such as the Mojito. You can find the recipe below.
What else sets it apart? The Central American rum is not only officially Fairtrade certified. It is also one of the few pioneering spirits packaged in a sustainable Frugalpac bottle.
It is made from 94 percent recycled cardboard and has a food-safe inner coating. The paper bottle is up to five times lighter than glass bottles and leaves a carbon footprint that is up to six times smaller. And: It offers 360-degree branding for an excellent presence on the shelf.
