The peated Highlander Ardmore 2012/2024 intensifies its spicy, smoky character in bourbon barrels that were previously used at an iconic Islay distillery (LA). Thanks to 57.1% ABV and the absence of coloring and chill filtration, it can express this lavishly.
The Glen Ord 2012/2024 also relies on classic casks made of American oak. The sweet-malty single malt, which is difficult to obtain independently, was distilled with perhaps the best barley in Scotland from the Black Isle growing region.
The Secret Orkney 2010/2024 lets delicate peat smoke and hearty spice meet nuts and fruity sweetness. The "mystery malt" from the stormy islands matured for 14 years in Andalusian butts, pre-filled with Oloroso Sherry.
