Glenfarclas is now in the expert hands of the Grant family for six generations. For over 150 years, the distillery, which is nestled in the rugged landscape of the Highlands (the location corresponds to the Speyside whisky region according to today's definition), has stood for uncompromisingly high quality - and traditionally makes the hearts of sherry fans around the world beat faster.
The reason: Glenfarclas' Highland Single Malts are made almost exclusively from the finest sherry casks from renowned Andalusian bodegas.
The exclusive bottling for Kirsch Import customers also benefited from pure sherry maturation. The Glenfarclas single malt rested for around 10 years in casks that previously contained the dry, yet smooth and often nutty Oloroso sherry. Glenfarclas 2011/2021 unfolds its complex flavor panorama at a strong 60.2% vol. Cask Strength.
