In 2002, a new chapter in the history of the Edradour Distillery began when Andrew W. Symington, previously known as the "Bottler", took over the reins of the distillery. This change marked the beginning of an era in which tradition and craftsmanship played an even greater role in further shaping the distinctive character of Edradour whisky.
Edradour is known far beyond the borders of Scotland as "Scotland's Little Gem" and is valued by whisky lovers for its authenticity and adherence to traditional distilling methods. Until 2018, the single malt whisky was produced in the historic farm buildings of Edradour, using distilling equipment whose history dates back over a century. This deep connection to tradition and the craftsmanship in every step of the distilling process give Edradour whiskies their unique character and make them a legend among connoisseurs.
The Edradour 25 yo and Edradour 30 yo bottlings stand as testaments to time and the tireless pursuit of perfection. After long years of maturation in first fill sherry butts, they are filled into elegant Ibisco decanters, with the 25-year-old Highlander presented as a small batch and the 30-year-old as a powerful single cask. These rare bottlings embody the essence of Edradour and are a symbol of the passion and skill that goes into each bottle.
