With his bottlings, Andrew Symington makes drops accessible to connoisseurs that are usually hidden from them. During the last inventory, whiskies emerged from the hidden depths of the warehouses that lead into the past of the successful bottler. The discoveries are now available in Germany.

Symington demonstrated his talent for distinguishing the really good from the mediocre even before he founded his Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Company Ltd. - during his time working for the Prestonfield House in Edinburgh, a hotel with strong ties to the world of whisky. Retro bottlings such as the Prestonfield Deluxe Blended Malt Scotch Whisky are reminiscent of this time. Its label is adorned with an artistic representation of the hotel and some of Edinburgh's landmarks.

In the 1990s, Signatory Vintage had already established an excellent reputation for excellent, sometimes rare whiskies. These were bottled, for example, in the Lands of Scotland series. A "mystery malt" in the series is the Lands of Scotland Speyside. Distilled and bottled in the popular whisky region, the light, fruity single malt is a good and inexpensive dram for beginners.
