Bushmills Steamship commemorates the 125th anniversary of the maiden voyage of the steamship SS Bushmills. This steamship belonged to the distillery. With this steamship, the distillery started its US and Asian trade.
This new series was introduced after the sale of Bushmills by Diageo and Jose Cuervo. Bushmills Steamship Bourbon Cask is the third whiskey in this series. The whiskey was matured exclusively in 3 different oak barrels, which gave it a distinct vanilla note.
