The Old Friends, Michel Reick's gift series, is now expanding to include the Blair Athol 2012/2024. Both in smell and taste, it is reminiscent of cake (dough) and brings out fruity notes before fading out with a subtle spice. Whisky fans will also enjoy the Auchroisk 2011/2024. Its first fill Oloroso Sherry Barrique gave the Speysider an enormous fruitiness on the nose, a powerful start on the palate with fine nuttiness and sweetness that fades out over a medium length.
