Shortcross 7 Years Cognac & Orange Liqueur Cask is a double-distilled peated single malt from an ex-cognac cask that previously contained an orange liqueur. This resulted in a composition of the smoky distillate and chocolatey orange aromas. If you are expecting a liqueur rather than a whiskey, you will be surprised. The orange notes shine through well, but mix beautifully with chocolate notes and the smoky aspect behind them. After seven years, the distillery bottled the Shortcross Irish Peated Single Malt, which is now released annually, at 46% ABV. Try it now!
