Aroma

Sweet, sooty peat smoke kicks off this malt, reminiscent of toasting marshmallows on a beach campfire. This combines with a maritime influence typical of Campbeltown whisky, with notes of salt and fishing creels.

The taste

It's a complex whisky and tastes beyond its years. Peat smoke dominates with malty undertones of crushed digistive bisquits. A liquorice note develops as it opens up and there is a hint of sweetness, like sticky honey glazing.

Hints of red fruits and mineral notes round off this malt.
