The Queen's supplier proves this with unique single cask bottlings , such as the Orkney Islands 2005/2022, which is bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import . The golden yellow single malt comes from one of the archipelago's two whisky distilleries. The island whisky, which is matured in a hogshead, follows strong peat smoke with honey, light fruits and leather . A Secret Speyside Distillery 2003/2022, on the other hand, appeals to sherry fans. Matured entirely in a first fill puncheon for between 18 and 19 years, it pampers with typical notes of sweet spices, fruit cake and dried fruit, to which a hint of cigar smoke and wax adds further dimensions. |
