Lady of Arms Sword Edition 1.0 is the second release of our new bottling series on the theme of Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey and is now available for you. The whiskey is a 6-year-old single pot still whiskey that matured entirely in an ex-bourbon cask. A total of 235 bottles with 56.7% ABV were produced.
The bottling conveys the unique profile of malted and unmalted barley very well. The wood notes from the ex-bourbon barrel also come through well and balance out the subliminally spicy profile of the whiskey excellently. With our series we show you the diversity of Irish single pot still whiskey. Each bottling is dedicated to the Irish warrior women, who traditionally played a major role in the original society on the Emerald Isle.
