The new Redbreast 21y was first presented on September 26, 2013 in London at a tasting by the master blender of the Irish Distillers, Mr. Billy Leighton. Matured in a combination of American bourbon barrels and Spanish sherry casks, it is currently the oldest standard whiskey in the Irish Distillers portfolio. The availability of this new single pot still will initially be quite low, as it is currently still being produced in very limited quantities.
