This time there is something quite old again: a 30 year old single grain from an ex-bourbon barrel.
The angels have received a fair share over the 30 years, which is why unfortunately there were only 142 bottles in total.
We have a Girvan distilled in September 1992 and bottled in April 2023 with 61.5% ABV, but you can't tell. It's great to drink neat, but experimenting with water is of course always possible.
Girvan Grain Whisky is known for its light and fruity characteristics with subtle notes of vanilla and caramel. Made from malted barley and other grains, it is characterized by a pleasant sweetness and a smooth, creamy texture. Its flavor profile is often accompanied by citrus, honey and a mild spice, resulting in a smooth and approachable whisky that is attractive to both novice and experienced whisky lovers.
