Berry Bro's & Rudd sells single estate rum from the Medine distillery in Mauritius under the "Penny Blue" brand. The oldest distillery in Mauritius has been producing rum from its own sugar cane cultivation since 1926. The VSOP retains the characteristics and complexity of the Penny Blue rums, but is more accessible than the Penny Blue XO and the single cask bottlings. 75% ex-cognac, 15% ex-bourbon and 10% ex-whisky casks are used, in which the rum matures for at least four years. Pleasantly fruity and complex - enjoy the VSOP neat or in cocktails!
