The Temple Bar 15 Years is a special bottling by the owner Tom Cleary of The Temple Bar. The bottling was bottled on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the Temple Bar. This bottling is intended to celebrate the hospitality and joy of the bar. The Temple Bar was founded in 1840 as a wine and spirits merchant. Even today it is the meeting place for young and old in the vibrant Temple Bar district in Dublin. For this bottling, the best bourbon barrels of the 15-year-old single malt were selected and bottled at 40%. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes in a great gift box. The barrels for this whiskey were stored in the cellars of the Temple Bar for the entire 15 years.
The whiskey was distilled in small pot stills. It has a very distinctive and harmonious taste. Fruity notes harmonize wonderfully with wood tones.
