Natterjack Irish Whiskey is a blended whiskey made from single pot still and single grain whiskey. The whiskey was first matured in American bourbon barrels before being finished in virgin oak barrels.
The name Natterjack comes from the natterjack toad, Ireland's unique species of toad. Unlike all other species of toad and frogs, the natterjack toad does not hop around, but walks quickly, always finding its own way. The whiskey is a tribute to this toad and is intended for all those who also go their own way.
